On the morning of October 13, 2023, the Saigon SIMEX Import-Export Center successfully organized a specialized seminar in collaboration with the Faculty of Commerce at the University of Finance and Marketing (UFM). The seminar topic was “International Trade Post-COVID-19 and Challenges for International Business Positions.”
Esteemed professors attended the event, as guests from the Faculty of Commerce, and guest speaker Mr. Le Sai Gon, the director of the SIMEX Center. Drawing from his practical experience, Mr. Le Sai Gon provided students with valuable insights and a more objective understanding of real-world work, specifically in the field of International Trade Transactions.
During the seminar, Mr. Le Sai Gon delved into in-depth knowledge on several key topics:
l Impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on international trade transactions
l Trends in the development of international trade post-Covid-19
l Opportunities and challenges for the international business sector in the current phase
l Essential skills for students pursuing careers in international business
Through these discussions, Mr. Le Sai Gon addressed students’ questions regarding the opportunities and challenges the international business sector faces today.
The seminar attracted the interest of over 200 students from the Faculty of Commerce. It provided a precious opportunity for students to gain practical knowledge and enhance the necessary skills for their future careers.
