In December 2024, Thầy Lê Sài Gòn, representing the Saigon Import-Export Training and Consulting Center (SIMEX), attended the R2E Business Award & Appreciation Night, an event celebrating the achievements of Vietnamese small and medium enterprises (SMEs) participating in the Ready to Export (R2E) program. The ceremony recognized the dedication of mentors and provided a platform for connecting the business communities of Vietnam and the Netherlands.
Notably, 2024 marks the third consecutive year that SIMEX has been selected as the main training provider for the R2E project, in collaboration with the Dutch Business Association in Vietnam (DBAV). In July 2024, SIMEX was once again honored as a partner delivering Senior Expert Training in International Trade and Post-Training Business Advisory, contributing to the growth of Vietnamese SMEs on the international market.
SIMEX’s Contributions to the R2E Project
• SIMEX acts as a training and consulting partner for SMEs in agriculture, horticulture, and manufacturing across Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Can Tho.
• Leading specialized 8-month training courses, the R2E program offers SMEs a fully funded opportunity to enhance their export capabilities.
• Partnering with ASSIST, SIMEX provides professional training and consultancy, highly praised by participating businesses.
Vision of the R2E Project
• Long-term goal: To enhance the capacity of Vietnamese SMEs to become sustainable partners in the value chains of foreign direct investment (FDI) firms, Dutch companies, and multinational enterprises (MNEs).
• Short-term goal: To help Vietnamese SMEs expand internationally and become valuable, competitive, and reliable partners in the global market.
The R2E Business Award & Appreciation Night not only celebrated the success of participating SMEs but also highlighted SIMEX and Thầy Lê Sài Gòn’s ongoing commitment to empowering Vietnamese SMEs for international integration.
