On September 16, Mr. Le Thanh Tung, a lecturer specializing in Customs Procedures at Saigon SIMEX Import-Export Consulting and Training Center, represented the center to attend the Dialogue Conference between Taiwanese Businesses on Customs Policy and Procedures 2020, organized by Dong Nai Customs Branch.
At the conference, leaders of Dong Nai Customs Department had very useful shares, along with updated information for businesses, especially Taiwanese businesses.
Some main contents of the conference were discussed very enthusiastically and frankly by delegates such as:
- New regulations on conditions for duty-free goods business, warehouses, locations for customs procedures, gathering, inspection and customs supervision;
- New regulations on when to submit proof of origin and form of proof of origin for imported goods;
- Some notes on declaring origin on customs declarations.

Dong Nai Customs has developed a force with a staff of more than 360 people, a total of 17 affiliated units, carrying out procedures for businesses in Dong Nai province and Binh Thuan province with valuable goods. Import-export turnover accounts for nearly 10% of the country's total turnover, import-export tax revenue always completes assigned planned targets.
