On April 14, 2023, the Saigon Import and Export Training and Consultation Center continued to be chosen as a partner to provide high-level training experts in International Trade and post-training business advisors, to train and advise businesses within the framework of the R2E - READY TO EXPORT project of the Dutch Business Association in Vietnam (DBAV), implemented in collaboration with the ASSIST organization.
The SIMEX Center was also appointed by ASSIST as an advisory partner and provided professional training courses for the Vietnamese business sector. The project is currently entering a busy period with the first training packages being implemented in the third quarter of 2023.
At the project announcement to businesses held at the Dutch Consulate in HCMC, Mr. Le Saigon was honored to speak to introduce the training program for businesses as well as present the training modules throughout the project. In the business meeting section, they also highly appreciated the program as well as the lectures deployed. “We believe that if businesses participate fully and grasp the knowledge conveyed well, surely your businesses will successfully export to the European market in general and the Dutch market in particular.”, Mr. Saigon - Director of SIMEX Center shared.
READY TO EXPORT is implemented to promote the success in the international market of Vietnamese companies. The Dutch Business Association in Vietnam (DBAV) has established a 3-year program to support Vietnamese small and medium enterprises in accessing the international market: Ready to Export (R2E). The program is funded by the Dutch government and targets businesses in three sectors: Agriculture, Gardening, and Manufacturing. The selected small and medium enterprises will be able to participate in the in-depth program completely free of charge and last 8 months to complete. Vietnamese small and medium enterprises register to participate in this program will take place in March and April, in the 5 largest cities of Vietnam.
The long-term goal of the R2E program is to enhance the capacity of Vietnamese small and medium enterprises to become long-term partners in the value chain of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Enterprises, Dutch Enterprises, and Multinational Enterprises (MNE). Building competitive and reliable Vietnamese SME trade partners.
The short-term goal of the R2E program is to help Vietnamese SMEs succeed in expanding operations, both internationally, and become high-value partners for FDI and MNE companies.
