On January 1, 2021 - January 2021, the Saigon Import and Export Training and Consultation Center (SIMEX) won the bid and Mr. Le Sai Gon (Director of the Center) was chosen as the Senior Trainer in International Trade and Investment and Business Mentor after Training, to train and advise small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, within the framework of the PROFIT Accelerator Program (PROMOTING REGIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR INVESTMENT AND TRADE).
The SIMEX Center was also chosen by ADB as a Mentoring Agency and provided professional training courses for Vietnamese businesses. The project is currently entering a busy phase with the first bids being implemented in the first quarter of 2021, lasting until the end of the third quarter of 2021.
P-R-O-F-I-T is a project of the Asian Development Bank - ADB aimed at promoting trade and investment between India and the countries of the Greater Mekong Subregion and the South and Southwest of India, through training activities, advising and financial support for small and medium enterprises in these countries. In the direct interview to select the trainer, two representatives from the UK and one representative from India of the ADB highly appreciated the professional capacity and training experience of Mr. Le Sai Gon and chose him as the Senior Expert teaching for the main modules of the Project.
“Because I grew up in the Mekong Delta. Because my parents and grandparents are farmers for many generations here. Not only because I am Vietnamese, I want to help my country with my knowledge and expertise. But I also want to bring my knowledge and experience to help businesses in neighboring countries, where all people live on this river.” - Mr. Le Sai Gon shared in the interview.
